Youth Climbing Team

Our youth climbing club and team is designed for more serious youth athletes looking to improve their skills. At Hangout we believe that a well rounded climber is one who is capable not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally and socially to be confident and competent in any situation. Our programs are designed to develop each of these core pillars of success. Ultimately we want to give each climber the best chance of having a long, safe, and enjoyable climbing career. Climbers in these programs must have a membership and meet particular climbing requirements.

Hangout Climbing Team

Coaches: David and Keiran

For athletes aged 8 - 18 years old.

The Hangout Climbing Team is for athletes who want to test their physical, mental and emotional limits in a competitive situation. We work to develop the skills, strengths and strategies necessary to perform well under stressful competitive situations.

We will limit our travel to Vancouver Island competitions mainly. However, the option to compete on a Provincial, National or International stage exists for those who are dedicated and determined enough.

***There is a $100 discount for each additional class in which an athlete registers. For example, an athlete registered for Monday practices, who also wants to join the session on Friday, would receive an additional $100 off the price of Fridays class.
